英语四级词汇讲解丨考点归纳：consider
In a 2001 study of 158 hospital nurses，those who faced considerable workdemands bud coped with the challenge were more likely to say they were in goodhealth than those who felt they couldn't get the job done.
英语四级译文:
在2001年对于158位护士的调查中，与认为自己无法完成工作的人相比，那些工作任务繁重但是成功地应对了挑战的人更倾向于认为自己健康状况良好。
四级词汇讲解:
本句的主干是those...were more likely to say...than those...其中，who引导的定语从句who facedconsiderable work demands but coped with the challenge修饰第一个 those, who felt theycouldn't gel the job done则修饰第二个those ; they were in good health为say的宾语从句;theycouldn't get the job done为felt的宾语从句。
get sth. done意为“做完某事”，通常是由自己完成。如:I want to get my car repaired.我想自己把车修理修理。have sth. done意为“让某人做某事”，通常由别人来完成。如:I want to have my hair cut.我想去理发。(让别人给剪头发)
英语四级考点归纳:
considering, considered, considerable和considerate这四个词看似相似，意思却各不相同:
※ considering意为“考虑到，就……而论”。如:
Considering yomr son has only been learning French a year, he speaks it very well.考虑到你儿子只学了一年法语，他说得已经很好了。
※ considered意为“经过仔细考虑的;受人尊重的”。如:
My father is a highly considered person.我爸爸是一位十分受人尊敬的人。
※ considerable意为“相当多的，可观的”。如:
We need a considerable sum of money.我们需要一大笔钱。
※ considerate意为“考虑周到的，体贴的”。如:
She is so considerate-always thinking about her friends.她很善解人意，总是为朋友着想。
