　　adapt to与adjust to都可以表示“适应”，二者的含义十分相近但不完全相同:

　　You must adapt to the norms of the society you live in.你必须适应你所生活的社会的行为准则。

　　※ adjust to所改变的幅度相对于adapt to而言要小一些，侧重于过程的变化，主要用于调整角度或高度等。如:

　　Astronauts in flight must adjust to weightlessness.宇航员在飞行中必须适应失重状态。
