英语四级词汇讲解丨考点归纳：比较级

四级词汇讲解:
本句的主要结构是“the more…，the more…”句式。句中的who enroll in a course but don't come tocampus是定语从句，修饰students。
enroll的意思是“注册，登记”。save on的意思是“节约，节省”，后接名词或动名词短语。如:
If every student remembers to turn off the lights before leaving the classrooms, the school willsave on electricity.如果每一个学生在离开教室之前都记得关灯的话，学校就会省很多电。
maintain的意思是“保持，维持”，在本句中特指“财务上的支持”。parking lot的意思是“停车场”。
英语四级考点归纳:
“The+比较级…，the+比较级…”句型。
该句型表示“越……，就越……”。前半句相当于一个条件句，要用一般现在时代替将来时。如:
※ The less the cost is, the lower the price is.成本越低，价格就越低。
※ The harder you work, the better you will get.你越努力，成绩就越好。
